We are delighted to introduce Shauntelle Wisdom, the esteemed founder of Talitha Koum Psychiatry PLLC. With an impressive 15 years of experience in nursing and mental healthcare, Shauntelle is a dual board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Her academic journey includes a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and a Master's degree in Nursing from Regis College. In addition, she holds certification as an addiction registered nurse practitioner, CARN.

Shauntelle's rich nursing background spans diverse specialties, including ICU, telemetry, homeless healthcare, community health, and addiction treatment. Leveraging her clinical expertise and drawing from personal experiences as a young mother, wife, advocate, and educator, she provides guidance and counseling to her patients.

Dedicated to mental health and addiction awareness, Shauntelle is fervent about ensuring access to high-quality mental healthcare for all. Her particular focus lies in supporting youth and young adults, emphasizing prevention and community engagement. Actively engaged in the Boston, Mattapan, Milton, and Abington communities, she serves on various boards related to youth advocacy, DEIB, and addiction prevention.

Shauntelle's transition to private practice stems from her commitment to delivering comprehensive and personalized patient care. She designs individualized integrative treatment plans, incorporating complementary therapies and group sessions when applicable. Recognizing the significance of the therapeutic relationship, she believes it is crucial for positive treatment outcomes. Shauntelle finds daily inspiration in the strength and resilience displayed by her patients.
